I will definitely miss the Devon Horse Show after we move. I have really enjoyed going these past two years. This year, we enjoyed seeing the gaited breeds under saddle and harness. And I met Kathleen Friedenberg, who will be instructing the AAEA sculpting workshop I will be attending at the end of this month.
And of course, the all important SKEE BALL!
I would *love* to go to Devon someday, but of course I would want to see the hunters the most!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I think my kids would like horse shows more if they all had skee ball and ferris wheels!
ReplyDeleteThe hunters are lovely. We saw several again this year. My son is much like your boys. Before we went he told me "I don't like horses", but by the end of the second day he told me, "I think I'd like to ride a horse." :) Of course, the country fair part with the skee ball and ferris wheel certainly helped to lighten the mood.
