There was so much to take in everywhere you looked at Wagon Land Adventure, and Eli's workshop was no different. A tremendous amount of skilled labor and time is necessary to restore these historic relics to their former glory. Eli does much of the work himself to rebuild and recreate what time has taken away. This post features a glimpse into this workshop.

Wagon Land Adventure Conestoga Wagon

After visiting the main Wagon Land Adventure warehouses (I don't know how else to describe the enormity of the 2 attached buildings), there was the smaller adjacent shed, then the Ware's Harness Shop building. I couldn't fathom there could be more, and yet, there was another large shed, which also housed Eli's workshop. Here are several of the vehicles in the additional shed.

Eli shared that some of his visitors included paranormal investigators. Amongst other things, they took pictures and saw images of people in one of the vehicles. It was similar to the one above. I was too nervous to actually take a picture of that one, cause ya never know!

Big Jim

At the back of Wear's Harness Shop is Big Jim, a life-size replica of a Shire horse in full harness. Enjoy these up-close photos of this beautiful set-up, as well as other harnesses in the collection at Wagon Land Adventure.
